Busy, busy, busy…

Yesterday was a big day. Started at 7:30 with breakfast and it went on until 00:00…midnight…too late…

I had meetings with customers, hands-on-workshop (helping/proctoring), more customer meetings, meeting with partner, teaching a partner how to use our tool, solution centre tech preview lounge, analyst demos, last minute demo prep for a customer (which I ended up not giving – that may happen today), and a customer dinner.

Today, I have a customer meeting, an internal strategy meeting, a board of advisors meeting, the last solution centre session, a partner meeting, more customer meetings, and the special event tonight.

This year, we’re going to SeaWorld.

I’ll need a vacation after this…

Foolish me…

There I was, thinking I might have half a day to go and enjoy a bit of Disney magic next week at the Rational Software Development Conference, when the gods decide that it would not be so… My Sunday is now fully booked with customer meetings (and the inescapable, compulsory, employee meetings). That not too bad – I would still have the Thursday afternoon… But no more! The powers that be have declared that a meeting afternoon! Since most, if not all, of the product managers will be at the conference, we will now all spend the afternoon together planning the future!

OK. I guess I am allowed at the conference because I have some work to do there. Oh well! I guess I’ll just have to come back on vacation (next year?) and bring the kids…
